Enabling JavaScript
You need to enable JavaScript to properly view this site. This site is safe, as are the scripts used to enhance your viewing. Scroll down until you see the instructions for your web browser.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or Later
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- On the Security tab, click Internet.
- Click Default Level, and then click OK.
If this method fails:
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
- On the Security tab, click Internet, and then click Custom Level.
- Under Active scripting, click Enable or Prompt.
- Click OK, and then click Yes.
- Click OK.
Firefox
- Open Firefox
- Click on the Tools menu then click on Options
- Click on the Web Features image on the left
- Depending on what you are doing, either place or remove the checkmark beside "Enable JavaScript"
- Click Ok.
Netscape 6
- Select/Click "Edit" from your Netscape menu bar.
- Select/Click "Preferences..." from the "Edit" menu drop down list. This will open the "Preference" window.
- Select/Click "Advanced" from the "Preferences" window. This will display the "Advanced" settings
- Select/Check "Enable JavaScript for Navigator" from the "Advanced" settings. Click the "OK" button to save your changes.
Netscape 7
- Select/Click "Edit" from your Netscape menu bar.
- Select/Click "Preferences..." from the "Edit" menu drop down list. This will open the "Preference" window.
- Click on the arrow next to "Advanced" from the "Preferences" window. This will display the list of "Advanced" options
- Select/Click "Scripts & Plugins" from the "Advanced" options list.
- Select/Check "Navigator" under "Enable JavaScript for" sub-heading from the "Scripts & Plugins" setting options. Click the "OK" button to save your changes.
Opera 7
- From Tools select Preferences.
- Under Multimedia tick the check box next to "Enable JavaScript".
- Click OK.
AOL 5
- Select/Click "My AOL" from your browser's tool bar.
- Select/Click "Preferences" from the "My AOL" drop down menu. This will open the "Preferences" window.
- Select/Click "WWW" from the "Preferences" window. This will display the "AOL Internet Properties" window.
- Select/Click the "Security" tab in the "AOL Internet Properties" window. This will display the "Web content zones"
- Select/Click "Internet" for your web content zone. This should show the security level for this zone.
- Select/Click the "Custom Level..." button. This should open the "Security Settings" window.
- Scroll through the settings until you find the heading "Scripting". The "Scripting" heading will have the subheadings "Active scripting", "Allow paste operations via script", and "Scripting of Java applets"
- Select/Click "Enable" under the "Active scripting" subheading. Click "OK" when exiting each window to save your changes.
AOL 6 & 7
- Select/Click "Settings" from your tool bar.
- Select/Click "Preferences" from the "Settings" drop down menu. This will open the "Preferences" window.
- Select/Click "Internet Properties (WWW)" from the "Preferences" window. This will display the "Internet Options" window.
- Select/Click the "Security" tab in the "Internet Options" window. This will display the "Web content zones"
- Select/Click "Internet" for your web content zone. This should show the security level for this zone.
- Select/Click the "Custom Level..." button. This should open the "Security Settings" window.
- Scroll through the settings until you find the heading "Scripting". The "Scripting" heading will have the subheadings "Active scripting", "Allow paste operations via script", and "Scripting of Java applets"
- Select/Click "Enable" under the "Active scripting" subheading. Click "OK" when exiting each window to save your changes.
- You may need to log off and log back on for AOL to activate changes you make.
